Fr. Cole Kennett
A Lincoln native and graduate of Pius X High School (’09), Fr. Timothy Cole Kennett was ordained a priest of the Diocese of Lincoln in 2017. He currently serves as pastor of St. Michael, Lincoln and was previously pastor of St. Joseph, Colon and St. Mary, Cedar Bluffs AND teacher at Bishop Neumann school in Wahoo. His home parish was St. Joseph in Lincoln. His parents are Tim and Shane Kennett, and he has three younger sisters. Shane is also a member of the Lincoln Equipping Team.

Marian Sisters of the Diocese of Lincoln
Sister Marta and Sister Theresa, the foundresses of the Marian Sisters, were members of the Mercy Sisters of St. Francis in Czechoslovakia. In 1950, they escaped Communist rule in Czechoslovakia. Bishop Kucera invited them to serve at St. Thomas Orphanage. In 1954, the Marian Sisters were established as the first Lincoln diocesan religious community. In 1963, Marycrest Motherhouse was built.
