Fr. Jay Buhman

Father Buhman was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Lincoln in 2004. He served as an assistant pastor his first six years at various parishes, including St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Newman Center at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He also served as pastor at two parishes in eastern Nebraska. In 2015, he was released from the Diocese of Lincoln to serve as national chaplain for the Fellowship of Catholic University Students in Denver for three years. He later served in David City at St. Mary Parish, and is currently pastor of All Saints in Holdrege.
Fr. Buhman is also the founder of the “Masses and Tears” devotion for those who have a loved one who has left the faith.

Retreat for moms of young children If someone watched you pee today, this is the retreat for you. Saturday November 22 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (It may also be live streamed if there is demand). The event is a one-day, baby-friendly retreat focused on some of the unique challenges moms of young children face while striving to cultivate a relationship with the Lord in everyday life. Nursing babies are welcome, and participants will have an individual room if they want to bring a pack-n-play or need to nurse or pump for a baby while on retreat.
