Fr. Joseph Wahlmeier
Fr. Joseph Wahlmeier, ordained for the Diocese of Lincoln in 2020, is currently pastor of St. Mary church in Davey, and a teacher at St. Gregory the Great Seminary in Seward.
He did his theology studies as a seminarian at the North American College in Rome, and then studied at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, specializing in biblical theology.
A native of Hastings, his parents Patrick and Debbie Wahlmeier have 15 children and 29 grandchildren; his brother, Fr. Isaac Wahlmeier, was ordained a priest in 2025.
