Family Retreat Day at Good Counsel Retreat House

A Day of Recollection and Reflection

Your entire family is invited to an all ages spiritual day of fun and activities, with testimonials, a family scavenger hunt, breakout talks, attend Sunday Mass, Adoration and Confession. Conclude with a gathering around the campfire (guitars welcome!)

Tentative Schedule

1pm Rosary walk and outdoor games (family scavenger hunt)
2:30pm Breakout talks (Adults, teens, and children)
3:15pm Drink and snack break
followed by Family time
4pm Adoration and Confessions
5pm Campfire Supper
Departure anytime

Kid friendly menu options. Children Under 4 must remain with parents for all events. Bring clothing for Sunday Mass, but also prepare to be outdoors much of the day (weather permitting; rooms available for changing).

Optional Campout option: those who want to bring their own camper or tent and camping supplies, you can camp overnight on the grounds either Saturday or Sunday (or both), have a restroom and shower room available for your family, and get a 7:30-9am continental breakfast.
