Living as an Apostle

Seek to transform the world in Christ.  Begin by encountering Christ daily in prayer, and witness to him in your daily life enlightened by the word of God and Church teaching. Acting as “pilgrims of hope” by sharing our own life of faith.  In this 2025 Year of Jubilee, Pope Francis has chosen the motto Pilgrims of Hope.

The recordings include 7 talks by Fr. Brooks.

Fr. Jason Brooks, LC – a priest with the Legionaries of Christ currently serving as a chaplain for the Regnum Christi members in the Archdiocese of Detroit, he also leads a healing ministry based on Encounter Ministries. Listen to Fr. Brooks homily and talk recordings

Jeremiah 18 presents a powerful image of our lives being like clay in a potter’s hands, in the hands of God. Picture your life this way.  We should envision our lives as moldable, shapeable, and entirely available to God, trusting that if we surrender to Him, He will shape and mold us.  We pray God will make us vessels for His glory as He is conforming us more into the image of Christ.

The retreat was held for women, but would be helpful for either men or women, including those who are not members of Regnum Christi.  Latin for “Kingdom of Christ”, Regnum Christi is a Federation (within the Catholic Church) with a Christ-Centered spirituality that is lived together in communion with all members, in union with the whole Church, and through a mission to build the kingdom of Christ. Regnum Christi is made up of over 25,000 members throughout 38 countries world-wide.
