A Day for the Family at Good Counsel Retreat House
A retreat for the whole family hosted by Our Lady of Good Counsel Retreat House with prayer, talks, Adoration, games, and more. Conclude with a gathering around the campfire (guitars welcome!)
Breakout sessions with Therese Chohon: Strength in the Family (recommended for older kids and Parents) and Josh Burks: Mary (recommended for younger children).

3:30 pm – Family Olympics and Snacks
4:45 pm – Prepare for Procession and Adoration
5:00 pm – Procession and Adoration (Outside)
5: 45 pm – Benediction and Reposition
6:00 pm – Supper and Campfire

Kid friendly menu options. Children Under 4 must remain with parents for all events. Bring clothing suitable to be outdoors much of the day (weather permitting; rooms available for changing).
Optional Campout option: those who want to bring their own camper or tent and camping supplies, you can camp overnight on the grounds either Saturday or Sunday (or both), have a restroom and shower room available for your family, and get a 7:30-9am continental breakfast.
