All or Nothing: Living every Moment for and with Christ

A 24-Hour Retreat for Women with Janette Howe of Seven Sisters Apostolate

“We must offer ourselves to God like a clean, smooth canvas and not worry ourselves about what God may choose to paint on it, but at each moment, feel only the stroke of His brush.” These words from Fr. Jean-Pierre de Caussade capture the transformative invitation at the heart of this retreat: to live each moment in radical surrender to Christ’s presence.

Janette Howe of the Seven Sisters Apostolate invites women to discover the profound truth that Christ is not merely present in our churches or Sunday worship—He is truly present in every single moment of our lives. In the mundane and the magnificent, in the joyful and the sorrowful, in the ordinary tasks and extraordinary graces, Christ awaits our recognition and response.

This 24-hour retreat offers women a focused time to step away from the distractions and demands to explore what it means to live with complete abandonment to God’s will. Through guided reflection, prayer, and the wisdom of Scripture and the saints, we will learn how to recognize Christ in the present moment and respond with trust, love, and surrender.

This retreat will address the practical challenges women face in cultivating moment-by-moment awareness of God’s presence: How do we surrender our need for control? How do we trust God’s plan when we cannot see the whole picture? How do we find Christ in interruptions, disappointments, and unexpected changes? How do we offer ourselves as a “canvas” ready for God’s artistry?

Whether you are seeking deeper intimacy with Christ, struggling to let go of worry and control, or simply longing to live more fully in God’s presence, this retreat offers spiritual nourishment and practical wisdom for the journey.

Come learn the sacred art of living in the present moment, where Christ is waiting to meet you with all the grace you need. Discover that holiness is not found in extraordinary achievements but in ordinary fidelity—saying yes to God’s will in each unrepeatable moment He gives.

This is the invitation: all or nothing. Every moment for Christ, every moment with Christ.
