My Lord, My God, My All

Loving Jesus in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar

Bishop Robert Finn with the Knights of the Holy Eucharist
Oct 25-27, 2024

3-Day Weekend Silent Retreat for Men and Women

The Knights of the Holy Eucharist will host a Eucharistic retreat at Our Lady of Good Counsel Retreat House in Waverly with Bishop Robert Finn as the keynote speaker.

The retreat is the seventh for the Knights, a group of Franciscan religious brothers founded in 1998 by the late Mother Mary Angelica, foundress of EWTN. They serve the Diocese of Lincoln at multiple parishes and are dedicated to fostering loving, reverent devotion to God in the Most Blessed Sacrament.

Bishop Emeritus of Kansas City-St. Joseph, Most Reverend Robert Finn was bishop in the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph from 2004-2015, and is currently chaplain to the School Sisters of Christ the King in Lincoln. Ordained a priest of the Archdiocese of St. Louis in 1979, he also served for many years as a high school teacher and administrator.

“This retreat will be a time to remember the gift of the Eucharist, to grow in love and devotion for this great mystery,” Bishop Finn said. “Becoming more aware of the real presence of Jesus Christ, and renewed during this time of Eucharistic revival, we join in adoring Him: Jesus, my Lord, my God, my All.”

Retreat starts Friday with rosary and Mass at 8:00pm, ends Sunday with Mass and Noon lunch.

In-person at the Retreat House, the retreats include meditations by the retreat master, the sacraments of Eucharist and Reconciliation, extended opportunities for silence and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, and other devotions.

Our Lady of Good Counsel Retreat House offers a sanctuary of prayer and recollection on a spacious acreage near Waverly. There are 50 single rooms, each with a private bath. A few double rooms are available upon request.
