Each year, the LDCCW takes time after their winter meeting to provide opportunities for women of the diocese to come together and learn how to adapt their life in the topics leadership, service and spirituality.
The Lincoln Diocesan Council of Catholic Women, under the direction of the bishop, performs the spiritual and corporal works of mercy in the service of God and His Church. The event, held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Retreat House in Waverly, will include opportunities for spiritual growth, education and service.
Prayer is always at the top of every retreat, but there is also time for the women to socialize, stay connected, and have personal interaction There will also be opportunity to spend time with Jesus at any time during the retreat, before the Blessed Sacrament in the chapel.
